Toe adjuster assembly on rear wishbone - initial setup

Can anybody tell me how this goes together please?

If I do up the small locknut on the threaded bar tightly, then hand screw the large threaded cylinder into the wishbone, how is the toe adjusted afterwards, as wont the large threaded cylinder be fixed tight against the small locknut and not turn?

If the small locknut is to be loosened first, a socket doesn't fit in there so how do you loosen it to allow the large cylinder to turn?

Secondly, as a starting point, should the two bushes on the wishbone be about the same distance out from the bar that is parallel to the chassis, in which case most of the thread will be in the wishbone.

And finally, should I smear all the threads with copper grease so they don't seize up like the ones I took off?

The small locknut and the larger one are loosened and the toe is adjusted by screwing the large threaded section in or out as required. Should be able to get a spanner on the smaller one.
I would use anti sieze on it as they are a nightmare to get apart.

As above.

If you are trying to loosen it on the vehicle, it may be easier to remove the wishbone and work on it on the bench/vice.

Shoot, just assembled the whole thing on one corner and although I put copper grease on all the bolts, I didn't put any on the threads of this adjuster.

If I take out the two bolts holding the bottom wishbone onto the chassis, will the whole assembly lift up so I can unscrew the adjuster and copper grease it?

You can try but it may be easier to remove the whole thing.

Managed to sort it. Bought a thin walled 19mm box spanner, and unscrewed the small locknut, then only needed to take off the bottom shock bolt and the other bottom wishbone to chassis bolt, and the whole assembly slid back and up, giving me enough space to unscrew the adjuster, grease it and then put it all back together again
