Business Bank Account - Personal Benefits
Discussion
I business bank with lloyds and ask my relationship manager when they call me once a year whether I can have the personal banking for free. The one you'd normally pay approx £15 per month for. My personal account held elsewhere doesn't have much in it or much going through it. Business bank has a decent balance and decent sum going through it. Enough for me to get free business banking
They always say no. Because it is a separate business. I do reckon exceptions can be made and will pursue it in a couple of months when I have more time.

Lloyds use the same team as relationship manager for both business and the personal banking - so you should be able to...They always say no. Because it is a separate business. I do reckon exceptions can be made and will pursue it in a couple of months when I have more time.

Useful to know, thanks! Are you aware of anyone getting personal banking perks on the back of business banking credentials?

not come across one. I use free business banking plus an amex platinum. get insurance, lounge access, concierge and loads of amex points that I convert to emirates points for holidays
Thanks folks, looks like the AMEX card is probably the best bet. Though it might be cheaper to just pay for lounge access...Vixpy1 said:
Got 3 business accounts and get naff all from Barclays, have a premier banking person who when i had a prob with the business banking side could'nt help
Having moved about a bit, I've had some great premier account managers who were happy to do anything, business included, and one who would barely do anything at all.russ_a said:

You'd be wasting your time. They won't be able to do this.akirk said:
