I'm looking to get my build into a rolling state this year, but wanted to hold off until next year before ordering my wheels.

Can anyone recommend donor rims that will fit in the meantime?

Ford Granada stud pattern but nothing you find as a steely will fit over the calipers so you will have to remove them or do something else. We have some rims here that have had the centre cut out and reversed but the lock is so limited it is almost impossible to use.
If you only need to move it in and around your garage then make some discs out of plywood.

Mercedes space savers work. I used 17" MB wheels to move mine as I had a spare set available in the stable biggrin
I believe Audi wheels fit too.

If the donor wheels are needed to just push the chassis around then cutting out plywood circles will work rather well. Even bonding a couple sheets together.
