Hi guys,

Does anybody have any experience or know where to get this original 986 option?

Thanks Graham, that looks very similar. I'll check it out. eBay had been unsuccessful so far.

There were third party kits that were better. But the market for them has probably died off. You might get the cosmetic parts from a wreck and mount some better speakers. I'll bet if you went onto the forums of 7 years ago you'd find sizes and recommendations.

I looked at doing this before I found a genuine kit on ebay. You can still get all the parts from Porsche. I found all the part numbers in the book 101 Projects for your Porsche Boxster.

Thanks RR. I'd checked the book, with Pelican Parts and found that some parts weren't available anymore. I have the Porsche Classic PDF for the Boxster, but can't seem to find the drawing & part nos. relating to speaker kit.

Porsche should be able to get the parts still from Germany.
