Unless you are paying a few hundred pounds then you are not going to get more than a spelling and grammar check. After all, to do a proper job someone needs to spend a couple of hours "interviewing" you for your history, skills, profile and then writing it up. That's not cheap, if they are any good.

I don't have CV advice for you, as I have no idea what UK employers look for.
I would however focus on my LinkedIn profile if I were you, and use it in combination with their handy job search app. In many cases it allows you to apply with just the online profile, so if you already described what you were doing at each job, there's no need to send in the extra piece of paper.
