Helpful people on here will offer shortly, happy to have a look having spent a lot of time on mine recently. Call up recruitment consultants and ask them too, most are happy to help and there are also many free review websites - they wont rewrite but they'll tell you whats wrong.

I recently used an online company, they did a fairly good job and used a few ideas that I wouldn't have thought of but the end result is very similar to what I supplied to them and I paid £75 for the pleasure.

Unless you are paying a few hundred pounds then you are not going to get more than a spelling and grammar check. After all, to do a proper job someone needs to spend a couple of hours "interviewing" you for your history, skills, profile and then writing it up. That's not cheap, if they are any good.

Best to get a friend or colleague to help, or people on here. If you are in IT, I'll take a look if you like.

More than happy to have a look and provide some feedback and say whether it needs a full and formal review; drop me a PM if that's of some assistance

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in responding, and many thanks for your offers of assistance etc.

I'm currently employed within Financial Services and if you don't mind Rog007, I'll drop you a PM over the weekend...?

Thanks and regards,

Paul

I don't have CV advice for you, as I have no idea what UK employers look for.

I would however focus on my LinkedIn profile if I were you, and use it in combination with their handy job search app. In many cases it allows you to apply with just the online profile, so if you already described what you were doing at each job, there's no need to send in the extra piece of paper.
