Right just bought a set of White! works wheels for our GT86.

They will be our Summer wheels so used April till oct time.

How is the best way to protect them from the elements. they will be cleaned often

I was thinking Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour. But I gather with this just add to fresh wheels and thats it.

Any tips would be handy on how to keep these protected before they go on the road

cheers

Matt

You've answered your own question - C5 or Gyeon Q2 Rim.

So it's that simple. Add C5 to the wheels and reapply every year or so

In a word, yes!

As with most things prep is the key.
If they are brand new out of a box I'd just panel wipe them with Gtechniq panel wipe and a microfiber.
Apply C5 - faces first, remove then barrels, remove.
Job done!

Best to treat before tyres fitted or not make a jot of difference?

In theory no difference although if you seal them up after tyre fitment you can remove the white tyre beading muck which fitters slap on the sidewalls and subsequently the lips of the alloys in the prep stages.
