Wiggle Southern Rough Ride 2016
Discussion
Just me then, well it was bloody hard work, really hard work.
Over 3000ft of climbing, that's a lot for a tubby mountain bike rider.
I managed to do the standard, will aim for the Epic next year.

1.2km @ 10%, maxing at 29.9% near the start. I'll have to go and find that one!
You'll probably waltz up it on your fixie! I think the worst bit is near the end; the lane/path goes across the worst of the slope and then turns right into it near the top. If there's a wind off the sea at that point, it's an absolute killer! If you go to Washington, you can park near the pub, then over the old bridge over the A24. Take the right fork for about 200 m then turn left and cross what was the left fork and there you are at the bottom.
I was in the area on my road bike on Sunday, heading back from Amberley was awful into the wind.
