Wheel Offset 16" Alloys

Hi, I was wondering if the offset is different between 18" wheels and 16" wheels and has anybody gone to 16" after having 18" wheels fitted?

I went from 16" to 18" so the oposite.
I noticed a big improvement in the tramlines issue I had but I had new shocks and get set up done at the same time.
