I think that I may have been caught by an average speed camera,I was heading east along the M56 and took the slip road to go north on the M6, I only saw one average speed camera shortly before I joined the M6 but I assume that I must have passed another one prior to that.
I do not know the area and was concentrating on going the correct way and I suppose that I must have not noticed the first camera and signs, I was probably going about 70 so I suppose that I will get hammered.

Are these permanent or roadworks SPECS?

If the latter you may be lucky; joining the M3 southbound at junction 4a you only pass one SPECS gantry in the 50-average limit before the NSL signs, so they don't always place them right.

I am not sure but I think that they are permanent, from what I have read I am probably looking at 5 or 6 points and a fine.

There are quite a few cameras around there which are not in use yet. Some have been there for the recent bridge repairs and some are there in readiness for the smart motorway upgrade.
