Well, after the brain-numbing twaddle that you lot pass off as entertainment, I'm not surprised that something requiring the exercise of more than one brain cell leaves you reeling...
I'm thinking Friends, Frasier, Columbo, Starsky & Hutch, Mork & Mindy, CSI Miami, Streets of San Fran, 6 Million Dollar Man, Dallas, Dynasty, Cannon, Ironside, Happy Days, Diff'rent Strokes, Fresh Prince, Star Trek, Jerry Springer, Petrocelli, The Simpsons, Stargate, X-Files, Rockford Files and Sex & the bloody City. Plus all the other crap our networks haven't even bought yet!

Luckily I don't own a telly, so I'm OK

well, considering I only like 1 of the shows on your list(simpsons) your arguement kinda falls apart.
And I was implying that the medical shows over here are really graphic which makes it hard to watch for some people.

I find shows like that fascinating. Yes it was extremely graphic. Basically the tumour was an 11 stone growth with blood vessels that initially grew from the lumbar spine. They peeled and cut it off from around the female 'host', leaving 40% of her body an open sore to skin graft.

The tumour when taken off and put on the floor was about the size of a thick wobbly table top....well, like a big blancmange....

That's when people earn their money doing stuff like that. Absolutely brilliant.

I'm sure you would have loved the human anatomy dissection by the German guy that was on a few weeks ago then.
