Coke and Pepsi had to change their recipe because they were told to add these warning labels. This was about 4 years ago and lead to "the new Pepsi". Coke just didn't mention it.

I had a t-shirt once which had a strange warning on the care label - "Caution: Dry away from cheeseburgers".

The problem with too many or pointless warnings is that people just begin to ignore them all.

Years ago I worked in cinema and we hat a hot cripsy coated peanuts thing installed in the kiosk. Big writing on the front Chili Coated PEANUTS, beneath it a warning which said "May contain Nuts". Mots people found it funniest that it said "may" contain nuts.

Of course it is. Because the constituent ingredients on the paint used for the logo is the main danger from an effing axe.

Well, technically, peanuts aren't actually nuts.

A bit O/T, but in a similar tone, why does Pron have a 'share on FB' image? My FB 'friends' do not need to know what I like watching on the 'net confused

Another bizarre warning. The fish counter in our local supermarket has a small label for each type of fish on display. The labels include the words, "Allergy advice: contains FISH".

Seriously? Like I hadn't notice that fish contains fish??

we had a Honda mower with a label that warned you not to put your hand into the blade (presumably someone else's hand would be fine)
