Trackday insurance
Discussion
What do you people do for insuring your cars on track?
With around £30k worth of car and £10k worth of mods, I'm not keen to take the full risk myself.
I've been using Moris for cover, my issue with them is that their premium seems to vary from one day to the next, despite them claiming to discount by an additional 5% each time you go with them.
My other concern with Moris is that they only seem to cover panel damage, and claim not to cover any mechanical or interior damage as the result of an impact, which leaves me unclear what happens if the car is written off.
I've had a quote from Insuremytrackday for £860 for 5 UK trackdays, which isn't a million miles away from Moris but seems to have far more favourable terms.
REIS wanted over £300 for just one day at Brands.
All examples were quoted for £31500 of cover with excesses ranging from £2000 to £3150.

It sounds like you have tried the most obvious candidates anyway, if you will do more than 5 are additional days on similar terms?
If so, and you will do the days, it sounds like a no-brainer.
Just if you haven't already, you could try A-plan, Adrian Flux and Competition Car Insurance.

REIS offer comprehensive insurance which includes 4 track days (Any ATDO meet). CCI offers similar but with 5 track days covered.
Mannings offer comprehensive cover including unlimited UK track days.
It may therefore be cheaper to change insurer in total to get the included track days.
