AMI - not playing iPhone 6s

2007 Q7 with factory AMI

Plays my wifes iPhone 6s when attached with a lightning adapter to the original lead, but mine doesn't.

We use a Viseeo Tune2air bluetooth, and again, her phone will connect and play/stream, but mine will connect and not play.

Any ideas?

Sounds like YOUR phone is the issue. If it was a car problem it wouldn't play either phone

Is yours running different software to hers? Is your port completely free of ste?

It is a genuine Apple adapter?

Yes, genuine. As I say, works with wife's phone, not mine.
