Hi guys, got a few bits on my bodywork id like to tend to, ive found a place that seems to do all the TVR colours in touch ups, sprays or aerosols http://tvrpaint.com/shop/tvr-ash-green-pre-1989/
Referring back to my owners handbook my paint is 'ash green' now theres no code next to it.. but i was just looking on the 'paint code section' on here & theres 3 different ones for ash green (mines also metallic)
I cant figure out which one of the 3 is mine, 2k or aquabase :/
- ASH GREEN A583B 2K
P156 ASH GREEN 0523B 2K
P156 ASH GREEN 0523B AQUABASE
any ideas?

Cheers
Steve

Steve,
Is that just an on-line supplier, or do they have a proper sales counter somewhere? TVR used a multitude of different paint types, I reckon the best course of action would be to take your S along to a specialist paint matching place and get them to... err.... well, match the paint
Here in Stockport we have Colourtone, who do a brilliant job of matching even faded paintwork and supply aerosol, touch up paint, or tins for a full respray.

2k refers to the paint being a two pack formulation. Not so good for home spraying as it is poisonous and requires specialist breathing equipment. Aquabase will be a later water based formulation. They should be the same colour as the paint code determines the mix of colours. If you are just looking for an aerosol then a good paint specialist should be able to sort that out. I use Paintstore in Leamington Spa if I need an aerosol mixing. Have you looked on the VIN plate under the bonnet for a paint code?
