Heated seats start working after 3.5 years...

For the 6 months of our ownership and 3 years of Beano500's ownership it was assumed that they didn't (and had never) worked, or the car was just wired for heated seats but they weren't actually fitted.

They seemed to work for 5 minutes on my way into work and then stopped (while the control was off - it's a TVR after all )

Either that, or I had a small fire under the seat!

I'm confused, but happy as it was damn cold this morning!
