According to Andreas Preuninger - Porsche boss of the GT division. He admitted that Porsche’s engineers were “tempted” to build a GT4 RS edition but said, “The problem with that is that you end up with a car where you need to charge the same as a GT3 RS, so there’s no point. It’s not in the plan.” But hinted there would be another generation of the GT4 which is likely to stick with six cylinders.

he also said PDK don't fit in a GT4 then 2 months later a GT4 with PDK.

I bet a hotter GT4 will happen, may even carry over from the Cayman R name. He is very clever and states NO RS , but you might get an R :-)

True. Could happen. I know he (or probably his team) keeps an eye on the various forums to get ideas on future projects that will sell.

A Cayman R built like a 991R would be very good! Should have done this with 987R
