Solent - what boat is this?

So sailing in the Solent today and saw the Thales Halycon ASV unmanned boat along with another ASV project some yellow remote controlled vessel.

However there was another vessel working with them that at first I thought was an SBS vessel. It was a very small grey powerboat with a single outboard on the back. Sorry for the poor image and it doesn't show the scale but what I can say is it is small and has a very low profile.

They are currently moored at Drystack at portchester.

Looks like a Bladerunner 35 with some kit on the back.

Sadly though whilst similar in looks it's far too big and doesn't have an outboard motor.

That is definitely a Bladerunner 35 - which is outboard powered.

Just looked again at the photos and realised its not running the engine covers. A quick google suggests one was surveyed on land where it's moored so that makes sense. Cheers

I've surveyed it several times over its life and it's now being used for "research"

Cheers. I was thinking it was maybe a development special forces boat but the fact the other two vessels were trialing unmanned vessels I'm guessing it's along them lines.
