Dipstick !

The dipstick has snapped by the tube cap so I need a replacement.Having trouble finding one. Does anyone know the correct part number ( 4.3 pre cat). Thanks.

There are a few options. TVR parts just bring up cerbera dipsticks!

What has snapped, the dipstick itself or the dipstick tube?

I managed to snap the tube when i had the engine stripped on the bench.

Just checked my receipt and the tube was part number ERR4556.

It snapped just under the cap that sits on the tube. Tube ok. I got one off ebay but the cap is twice as big as the old one. I think its for a much thicker tube. The length is correct and it does seal the tube ok so it'll do. I think the correct part is ERR1922L as shown on the Rimmer bros list but as you can see it says no longer available.

Well its bad news on the Rimmer dipstick. Its too short by about 4 inches.

The only dipstick available on the website is the MGB V8 'Short dipstick'.

Looks like the super expensive option from Racetech and second hand are the only new options.
