M3 in Grigio Telesto... very tempted...
Discussion
That looks stunning! I have to say I hadn't seen any of the new M's until picking up some parts from Cotswold the other week. They had an M3 in a stunning purple/violet colour and I was very taken by it.
To my warped mind it looks more like an evolution of the e39 m5, just the right proportions and flare to the arches. I'm in a position of conflict as to where to go when I sell the vette. The power of the f10 is very tempting and I think it would be lovely to have one sat next to the e39... but these m3's are stunning!
Go for the car for the looks alone!

Lovely car, get it. I love my new M3 cracking cars.
I would echo Wills here. I think it is a much better drivers car than my previous F10 M5 and despite the journo's claiming traction was useless, I've had no such problems in mine so far. I know a couple of other posters have "downgraded" to the M3 having come from M5/M6 and they all suggest the M3 is better.

Fantastic car, but had to decline the deal.

Agreed it's a better drivers car that's for sure.
Also coming from an F10 M5, I did so conscious of the relative trade-offs in comfort vs rawness. The M3/4 is an absolute riot to drive and in some ways reminds me of my MR FQ EVO 8 from many moons ago - it's loud, fast and very pointy (I can't describe just how good the front end directness and grip is
). But even with full leather, which looks great, the fit/feel of the seats is definitely down a peg on the M5.But hey, you pays your money...

You hated just about everything about your short lived M4?
Or am I getting you mixed up with someone else?
You are right, I hated my M4. But I've since driven two LCI M3s and the changes to the dif and suspension make it feel like a different car. Traction is still loose, but you can now feel what is going on and control the cars movement. Traction control system is still garbage but turn it off and the car is really good given the cost e.g. £50k new as opposed to something like a new 911 at £100k.Or am I getting you mixed up with someone else?
