Looks like the kind of event that is well suited to the Ultima.
Perhaps G Man could go along and lay down a lap time and 0-60 for others to aim at

As one of the organisers of GT Battle, I would dearly love to see an Ultima "do its thang" at the event.
I think they are cracking cars. I was lucky enough to sit in Andys red monster at a TVR Owners Club day when we (the GTR Register - skyline that is !!) were invited down Maldon way for a meet up.
Twas an excellent day out !!
The track will be a mix of the first section of banked track and an infield layout to make it as challenging as possible. We have had confirmation that Simon Norris will be there with his 800bhp+ Evo7 (or maybe his even more extreme new project car) Clive Seddon will most likely be there too with a 930bhp Evo6, Rocket Ron will try his hand in the 850bhp R33 he has become well known for, Martin Hadland 650+ Cossie, Ruf Porsche GT2, GT3RS from parr motorsport, as well as many other top machines.
THIS will be an event to try and prove yourselves on, as well as being a top day out with loads of other activities to surprise you.

Don't think my car has anything to prove, as the holder of 0-100-0 record, I will leave it for someone else to take it on

Sounds like a gearbox-popping day out to me. You should have the weight advantage however. Wheres that chicken smilee gone

But thats why I change my women like oil
When they are getting on a bit and its all wearing thin, or they start to give me a top end rattle and they're out of tolerance, I change em' simple.
During the winter months I treat them gently, and pamper them always looking out for them like a gentleman does, even though they become a bit thicker when its cold. Never thrashed or hurried until she's ready and always on her terms. She still delivers but we have more fun in the sun. I bide my time in the winter becaus I can't be arsed with the hassle of changin her.
When the summer breaks and she's all loose and thin and I see the translucent colour in her body . I know shes ready for a damned good spanking, all hot blooded and racy. Its what she does for me, and I have waited oh so patiently. And oh the sweet smell when she's ready.
My girl is the most important thing in my car; she is my insurance and what keeps me in the race.
I won't take chances with her and I always make sure she's fixed up for the ultimate protection. Don't want her to dump her oil every month. None of that coil and spring barrier protection either, oh no, my girls got proper protection; her protection comes via dash 12 injections and hard wired in and fed with a beating pump like my heart. This forces her blood round her body with massive stamina, and it just keeps coming and coming not shoots its load when it thinks its all over, and then leaves you with a few drips and a ten minute recharge. None of this accusump coil protection for her
She has years of breeding research in her and she has a pedigree of success within the Nascar family. Sadly tho after I have had her again and again, when she's lost her magic and it's time for a change,
I'll just dump her
The Ultima GTR640 has already proven itself to be quicker than the modified cars mentioned above. Redline Magazine last year tested them using the same Datron Microsat GPS equipment used for the official Ultima world records rather than some less than accurate timing gear used at some speed events.
The two fastest 0-150mph times were slower than the Ultima:
Simon Norris 800bhp plus Evo 12.02 secs
Rocket Ron 850bhp Skyline 12.79 secs
The comparison is fairly pointless anyway. The above are hugely modified cars with huge expense thrown in to them with great unreliability, whereas the Ultima GTR640 is a standard car available from a factory with a 12 months warranty at a relatively sensible price.
What do straight lines really prove anyways???
The whole point about an Ultima is that its a complete package - whereas all you guys are banging on about is straight line acheivements, which whilst very impressive dont really tell much of a story do they !!
I dont think Ron has spent THAT much more than a GTR640 would cost built at the factory either. And in fairness its a diferent kind of thing modifying a car to buying one already built. You can buy the 1100bhp Tomei Drag R34 for about £35,000 which would be pretty good at straight lines !!
At the end of the day Im a petrol head and would love to see all sorts of cars there. Thats what makes it special.

For what its worth, I would be more than pleased to offer you Ultima guys a free club stand and the same goes if the Factory want to have a trade stand.
Im still secretly crossing my fingers that a friend with a Murcielago is gonna have a go, and see if I can convince Modena Cars to take a Koenigsegg up there as well (although obviously that wont compete).
I have even asked Lola, Williams and McLaren if they can help out in any way, but its smack bang in the middle of silly season for F1 so I doubt it, even though I have a couple of contacts.

GMan, I've been lurking on here and think your car is great! I thort you would be well up for this challenge as you seem to like going fast! But I thort that a bloke from Ultima was in your car for the record and it was for top spe3ed not going on a track and stuff where you will have to go fast on the corners to
Please show us wot your car can do aginst these other cars. as it is the fastest it shudd beat them all no problem at all?
