Pre-purchase inspection Sheffield area

Hi

I'm new to the forum; also looking to buy my first Porsche, a 993 cabrio

It is with a dealer in the Sheffield area and I would like to arrange a pre-purchase inspection.

Any advice / recommendations on companies doing pre-purchase inspections in that area will be much appreciated.

Also, is the Porsche dealer an alternative (for doing the pre-purchase inspection)?

Which dealer out of interest? Am in Sheffield but don't know or use anyone local unfortunately. I go to brighouse for servicing my 993.

I use these guys for all my out of cycle maintenance. I can highly recommend them, really know their stuff and also excellent prices. Not sure if they provide an inspection service as such, but worth giving John a call for some advice.

Try Steve junior at Statller in Attercliffe (0114 23279044) He is a bit of a 993 Guru, looked after mine for many years and has never let me down. He knows these cars inside out and also very good value for money!

Thank you so much for all your replies; there were really useful in helping me figuring out the next steps.
Also, apologies for the late reply but over the last few weeks it was a whirlwind of stuff to do, so didn't get a chance to reply to you as quick as I wanted to do.
Found later on that the car was re-commissioned by Statler, so was not able to use them also for the pre-inspection. So, I have decided to go with Jasmine PorschaLink. Brian has done the inspection and was all OK. It was a smooth process and he was very useful in explaining it, but as much as doing the thorough inspection of the car, so definitely I would recommend him.
Now, it's all sorted and I'm just waiting for the delivery of the car. Weather is getting better so hope to have the chance of a good run as soon as I'll get it.
