997GTS4 exhaust - have I any options?
Discussion
Said car is fantastic and am loving it, but the PSE on it does seem a bit lacking in "growl" compared to the 9964S with PSE I had before. I can't do anything structural/detectable, as the car still has Porsche warranty on it.
Is there any mod/adjustment akin to the one which stopped the 996 PSE from cutting out between 30-45mph which I can do that might assist - or am I looking at waiting until no longer under warranty and then having it interfered with?
Many thanks!

I agree 100% and shared the same frustration on my 997 GTS.

Thanks chaps - both most helpful.
Any idea how/what I unplug - search is not being my friend here?
Right hand side of engine bay to the right of the inlet manifold there is a vacuum unit with a black connecter switch. If you unplug it the valves will remain open at all times. Two small issues with this mod are that the switch on the dash no longer works (so its louder all the time) and that without use the actuators on the exhaust are known to seize.Any idea how/what I unplug - search is not being my friend here?
With the centre silencer bypass option you get the noise, the switch still works and no risk of the actuators seizing.
I've tried pulling the plug on my 997(before and after the Sharkwerk was fitted) and I'm not convinced the PSE works in the same way as on the 996 - ie it doesn't seem to 'go quiet' at 30-45mph. Given how quiet the stock 997 PSE is I am not sure they bothered with the dip on the later model

My GTS did, so I got the OPC to pull the plug. Definite improvement. Also disconnected the PSE on my 997.1, but that was from day of install so I don't know how much difference it made.

Thanks all - have given the instructions a try, but it does not seem to make much difference tbh. Not surprising really, if it did dip any more, it'd sound about as menacing as a hoover.
