I've been using Bailcast neoprene type boots and gaiters for years with no issues. Stretchy too so easy to fit without dismantling the joints from the shafts.
Contact direct for the correct part number: http://www.bailcast.com/ or enter details for a Ford Granada in the menu. DBC 800 x 4 looks correct but check first.
