online payment / registration site?

I debated posting this to Computers etc forum but reckoned I should get the answer I want here more quickly.
I am part of a group fundraising for a small, local football team. We are running a 5K mud run, which we did with the help of PayPal donate in 2014.
Some of the team voiced dislike of the PayPal route, but as we are not a registered charity and I can find very few options for something else, we will likely be going down this road again.
Can anyone recommend a site that accepts payments, for non-charities, with not too steep a % for transactions?

I've not looked into it properly but have you looked at Just Giving?

Can you not delegate the task to those vocal sorts who objected to Paypal, or tell them to STFU, and do what makes your life easier?
