I'm currently looking to kit out a groom on a stag do in some really bad lycra race kit. He works in the cycling/fitness industry and I know he'd hate this sort of thing.

My first thought was trawling eBay for some retro stuff but that seems fairly pricey. Is it worth considering some fake overseas kit? Ideally looking for something that's a really bad fake!

I'm open to other suggestions but it must be cycling related dress-up.

For a stag do I bought some blank jerseys from Impsport (they size up a bit small), we designed our own image and had a local t-shirt printer put the image on. Worked out good and cheap.

Sure you could easily come up with some punnage & logo stealing

The printing idea crossed my mind but I was concerned it wouldn't be that easy to print onto the fabric?

Not quite cycling gear, but tight fitting so could pass as one...I think you'll struggle to beat this and it still be wearable in public:

Oh...there are plenty more. In fact you could all have one each. There are some spectacular designs available.

There are plenty of knock-off World Champion jerseys on eBay, which I'm sure would do the job nicely.

Thanks for the heads up, is the stall there most days? I'm in London next month so I'll take a look.

There is a place in Camden market that has a couple rows of retro kit, not for fat lads though.
