Hi guys

I would appreciate it if anyone can advise me on when to service my Audi. I’ve always had cars with a yearly or 2 yearly service unlike Audi with their differing oil and inspection services

Car is a 63 plate A7 BiTdi. Bought it in Dec 15 exactly 2 years old with 22k on the clock. It had an Inspection service at 18.5k in Jan 15 (so only did 3.5k in 2015). This is the only service it has had so far.

I drive about 15k miles a year so at the moment its approaching 26k. This puts me in the flexible service schedule band.

On the MMI it states

Next oil change in 1700miles/317 days
Next Inspection in 11,000 miles/282 days

Does it really need an oil change again as the Inspection service would have changed the oil? Is it just a case of resetting the Oil Service Interval and waiting until the next inspection service (will be in Jan 2017 based on mileage so approx 19,000 miles and 2 years after the 1st Inspection service). The car will also be 3 years old then benefitting from fixed servicing costs.

Audi note that under the flexible regime Oil-change service is Variable to a maximum of 19,000 miles*/ 2 years and Inspection Service is Fixed to every 19,000 miles*/ 2 years

As an aside, my Oil level reads ‘Please Reduce Oil Level’ even after 7,500miles/14months since last service. Possibly a faulty sensor or oily ring/cap

Many thanks. Sorry for the long post 
