Xbox One & Rural Internet / Single Player

Right Chaps, I neeeeeed to get involved in The Division, looks awesome.

I was about to jump in & get the Forza 6 package & The Division, but as it's mainly a co-op game, am I going to miss out?

Currently on 4mb BT, ping varies, usually about 40-50ms but has been as high as 120ms, no Infinity available, no Virgin Media available. 3/4G is out too as we get bugger all phone signal.

Down speeds are usually bob on or a little over 4mb, upload is around 0.1 (you can stop laughing now).

If i'm screwed, are there any good single player games for a Billy-no-mates, or do I need to buy a ball to kick against the wall?

Haha, true.

But moving out of a 75mb minimum area to this has been difficult.

It even went down for 4 days between Christmas & New Year.

You amateur, I'm one of the 4% of the country that can't get fibre, I make do with 1.8MB/s (until recently I thought 'buffering' was some sort of foreplay).

The Division plays alright but I actively avoid anything quick and PvP multiplayer, luckily it's none of those so you'll be fine.

I was downloading The Division update at the rate of 1.1gig per hour. Am moving rather than waiting for them to install fibre.

you won't regret it. Get on Remal' xbox one Division thread.

Add me (GT is simo1863) and a few others. Even if your connection can't support it it's worth trying.

Got it hooked up last night, fking ages to do the 1.1gb initial update...

Forza is waaaaay different to the GT series, that and the pad are gonna take some getting used to!

DIY day today, division all day tomorrow.

I'm too old to be this giddy for gaming... Haha!
