Not sure whats happened to them, saw a car they are selling on their website, tried to contact via the website without success so thought I would pop down.......well the nice showroom I remember has gone and they're hidden in the corner of a trading estate with no cars to look at, no salesman and seemingly no one to find out further information, I received no real apology for a 100 mile wasted round trip, the website clearly pictures the cars with a backdrop of the old showroom with nothing to say that viewing is by appointment only, a "we'll try and get back to you but it'll be in a few days" after further questioning about car spec.

Left extremely disappointed.

Anyone have any of the back story on them?

I bought a Sagaris from them in 2007 and wondering what happened given they were front and center of TVR sales at that time..

As far as I am aware they sold the old premisis and timed a move to a new, bigger and better one but hit a massive problem with the new site which has left them in limbo. I'm not sure if I recall correctly that it was asbestos or planning but something has put a halt and left them effectively homeless.

As a result, the sales side is in limbo so they've not hired a salesman and I don't think the cars that are up for sale are on site. For example, I have a car up with them but there isn't really going to be any sales operation until the new building is finalised. I assume that where you ended up was in the trading estate they run the parts side out of until that can be moved to the new site?

I had a chat with them about their car sales whilst I was collecting some parts. Whilst I understand the 'bump' they hit re the new premises, their response isn't what I would call sensible business practice.

I get the impression that they are more interested in the new TVR car sales than the second hand market.

Shame really, they have a Grif 500 that twangs my interests.

Current address is Unit G, Linsford Business Park, Linsford Lane, Mytchett, Surrey GU16 6DJ

Reading the news section on their site the new showroom should have been ready in early 2015

Just a real pity they haven't updated the website or FB to highlight their temporary premises and lack of viewing, does also mean all photos of cars for sale are well over a year old, obviously not worried about hanging on to stock.

Weren't they supposed to be a major player in the 'new' TVR parts supply network? Is that still holding up?

All i did was phone up and arrange to see the car i wanted. I had to wait a couple of days for them to get it out of storage. Test drove it,bought it ! Had to wait one week while they done a 12,000 mile service, tax and mot and give a 12 month full mechanical warranty on it. When i picked up the car their workshop was up and running.
