Hi there,

worked hard to lift the body off !

with 3 people and a workshop crane were enough to lift Now it's time for the chassis to be repaired and for me to learn welding

Here are pics of the process and the worst parts of the chassis.

Did the body lift myself last year and I'm just about ready to start putting it all back together.

It will be worth all the hard work. Interesting to see how you make up the repair sections for the trailing arm mounts as I think that this is the most difficult area. Good luck and enjoy some more beers during the restoration!

well spotted!

When I bought the car, the radiator has been replaced with a different new one, which mounted inversed compared to the original one, implying this workaround, which I realized when I've installed my new kit of silicon hoses and not having all the parts

I just ordered a silicone kit for mine which I'll be doing shortly, so let me know if you want the original rad hoses so you can go back to standard (if you plan to change the radiator to a standard one)

I just thought : I did not check if my radiator can be reversed, but if it is possible I can come back to a standard setup.

Thanks for the offer, but I've ordered a complete kit from ACT, so I think I should be able to fit all the bits in there
