997 gen 2 handbrake adjustment?

Just set up the handbrake shoes on the brake drum adjusters and want to take up slack in cables. On my old 996 access to the cable tensioners was through a easily removable hatch in centre armrest console...anybody know if it's a similar setup on the 997 ...it's not obvious looking at the console fittings , nor are any fixing screws to be seen. Hi there is no adjustment on lever end, its self adjusting.

Thanks for the info...the drum adjustment brought the brake lever movement back to 5 clicks which is fine. Just thought I could get it to 3 clicks using older car cable adjustment method but if not available it's fine. Best Regards. Ian
