Boot lock housing and release cable damaged

Just in case others have similar problems. I thought my boot solenoid had failed but it was 'trying' if you know what I mean. After getting a replacement alarm microswitch in error the first time I discovered that the boot lock housing was cracked / broken. Not sure if this was done before because it has always taken several pushes to open the boot or I made it worse removing it. Also, the sheathing was failing, so the cable was not pulling far enough to release the lock:

However, who would have though that a chap called 'puma-bits' on ebay would have some in stock for £12.95? Correct part number:

While I wait for parts, the boot won't fly open if I HAVE to drive it.

I expect I'll end up fitting a new solenoid anyway since they're only a few pound.
