Does the restaurant still have a Michelin star?

I fancy a nice meal with the wife.

As far as I can see the Michelin starred chef left a couple of years ago.

Has anyone eaten there recently?

can't help you with your query but it reminded me of something. I ate there many years ago with my partner at the time as we were staying over there on valentines' day. Charged what was a very expensive meal including lots of wine to the room, and the hotel kindly forgot to add the restaurant charges to the bill. Was pretty happy with that.

We stayed overnight and that coincided with the arrival of the England squad for training camp. Seems they were hungry as they ate everything!

The food we did have was mediocre at best and was overpriced, so I suspect hes gone from there now.

My wife enjoyed the view in the spa however!

I ate there a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty poor for a Michelin star restaurant. The food, atmosphere and waiting staff are far better at other places. Bluebells a bit further down the A30 is far better.
