V8 Vantage ECU Tuning
Discussion
Hello,
i live in Bavaria/Germany (so please forgive me any mistakes in my English) and i own a 2006 V8 Vantage for 1,5 years now.
It is meteorite silver with bitter chocolate inside which i love!!
I lowered the car ~ 2,5 cm(Eibach springs) and use spacers combined with black painted wheels.
For me it looks perfect.
During this winter i changed a few things like most lubricants, brake discs, brake pads, belt and pulley,etc....
Powerwise i installed 200 cell Catalytic converters, "open" (like GT4-without housing) K+N Air Filters and a Quicksilver rear silencer, which i bought used, so i do not know which Sound Level it is, but it´s not really silent now...
This week the car will go to a friend of mine, who has chip tuning firm, were the ECU will be customized to the changings i made. Basically it will be a modified N 400 Program
Other than this i want to rise the rev limiter to 7600rpm and program the throttle respons to react quicker.
Now my question is:
Is there anything that should be done to the ECU?
Peter
