Lower door/sill seals...

Anyone know when the lower door seal arrangement changed... there's at least two configurations of how the seal strip on the bottom inside edge of the door runs - one has the seal right at the bottom (ie below the interior light switch) and the other is loads higher (ie running above the switch position).

I ask as my car has both, on opposite sides

Mine is a 2000 year Chimaera, and the bottom door seals are below the switch on both sides. The seals are therefore right at the bottom of the doors.

I think the switch is also for the locking & alarm sensors as well as the interior light.
