Proof I can't drive
Discussion
Only my second Donington Track day, first outing after sighting laps. This is the warm up lap, indicating right most of the time, tried to keep right through the turn to give room to the fast approaching orange TT, but instead bin it right in front of him.
In my defense, everything was cold, car, track surface, and definitely the tyres. Nevertheless - driver error!

At least you weren't the only one. That Yellow Beamer seemed to forget to turn right!
Much worse luck for him as he damaged an oil cooler line, game over. The yellow flag turned to red moments later for him to be recovered. In fact I have never seen so many red flags, because the ground was so water logged it was virtually impossible to get out if you spun off. Most stoppages were very brief as the marshalls seemed very efficient. They were certainly very quick to black flag me at 98.7dB drive by on a 98dB event. Fortunately the tail pipe inserts sorted that out, as a second black flag would have sent me home.Firing order said:
Whoa scary did you get back on it after you replaced pants ?
Actually that wasn't too bad, it was what happened here that I really didn't like.http://vimeo.com/158817288

Pl, on that second clip it sounds like the rears are spinning on the exit from a couple of corners, the hairpin on the Melbourne loop for example, is this correct or am I hearing things?
Several people asked me if I had an open diff, "No, it's a Hydratrack" I replied.Presumably it's fooked.

Yep I would say that is a large part of your problem.
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and suggestions. The worn out Hydratrack is definitely not helping me get the power down on hairpin exits, however if anything it will be reducing the car's propensity to spin as per the original video in this thread.
Since I have a spare diff, I may well investigate getting it rebuilt, but it is going to be a lower priority than getting the suspension sorted, especially rear bushes.
