Hello guys,

I am very sorry if this is the incorrect section to post in. I am looking at buying a gallardo by the end of the year, and thought it might be sensible to rent one for a few weeks prior to making my decision. I have never had a supercar before so this is my first!
I am looking to get the opinions of the following companies and these are the ones I have narrowed my search down to
If you have any other suggestions please feel free to shout it out.

Kind Regards

Harry

I don't know either of those firms but wouldn't renting a car like that for a "few weeks" be extortionately expensive? Probably more than any depreciation would hit you with...

A week or 2 hire? eek
I'm not familiar with either but for that length of time you're easily looking 4k for a week or 8k for 2, which should cover a years depreciation if you bought.
You'd be better off paying about £600 and doing a decent track day and really understand what the car is all about. Then if you're still keen, go shopping

Don't... Chap who bought my 08 said his pre purchase hire was a total dog by comparison and almost put him off buying a gallardo altogether.... He's still got my car and has a huracan too now ....

A Gallardo would be much cheaper than that.
Even before any discount etc you can hire one for £3k (incl VAT) for a week.

I bet if you said you wanted it for 2 weeks, you'd get it much cheaper than the quoted price.
I personally know the owner of this company so happy to put you in contact with him if you'd like OP.

I hired a McLaren 12C for a day before buying from PremierVelocity. They were very good to deal with and I would use them again. I only needed a day in the car to decide, if that helps.
