Heres a story of my current fleet.

thats not me btw mate having a shot

Longest serving is the z3 which I bought when i wanted a fun daily car and needed to scratch the convertable itch. I had considered a mx5 as well as a mgf but wanted something a little more "show offy" Knowing it would be a cruiser but my tendancies for fast driving I had to go for a 2.8.

Luckly there was one on gumtree and after viewing it in the dark after a 12 hour shift at work i boought it.

What a great car it has been. It has been on a few highland hoons up in the north of scotland and even though it is very wallowy with a few brave pills it really can hold onto alot quicker cars.

The z3 has so much character and that straight 6 engine so impressed me the scene was set for looking out for a proper M car. It really sounds amazing, pulls like a train all the way to 5k then kicks a little more up to 6k!. What would an M car sound like that has another 2000rpm to go!

Next is my daily car. I do alot of skiing and the z3 is no use for that. I wanted something that was super comfy and had to have heated seats.

First ski day of the season with my pal gary. 2 sets of ski's and all the kit as well as two overnight bags.

A TT 1.8t came up locally which after taking my ski's with me to see if they fit. (they do with one rear seat down) It is the perfect daily and comfy for when i just want to get home on icy road and tired knowing the car will do most of the work for me.

Lastly the real fun car. I had been contemplating a corvette c6 but also had in my mind that M cars are getting into crazy money and i might never get to own one. I had wanted a e36 but they are either knackered or crazy money and just a bit too old for what i want. So an e46 was the plan. Again one came up locally and it needed a bit of work. The tyres were knackered and needed new brakes all round but this was negotiated into the price I paid.

Finally after 19 cars one with proper cup holders!

I also changed the wheels to the csl wheels but i may get them painted back to standard as i'm not sure about black though it is growing on me

All of the fleet together only the m3 had been washed at this point as the light was going

Plans are the TT is going for an estate diesel probably auto as my commute is about to get alot bigger and most likely the z3 will go in summer but i struggle to part with it as it has so little issues and so much character.

The M3 will be used for all the car runs as well as my second european road trip planned for later in the year.

Nice selection, and I like that they're all for a slightly different job.
