Does anyone know the length between the centre of the front wheel and the front of the bumper as well as the height of the bumpers' lowest point from the ground?

Trying to work out if it will have issues on sloped car park entrance and speed bumps.

Thanks.

Already asked Porsche - no response.

Height under front splitter around 110mm. I haven't had too many problems to date and we have lots of humps locally. Couple of rubs so need to be careful.

No issue and I've encountered some pretty big ones.
My drive is quite steep and have had issues in the past with some super cars,no issue at all with the gt4.

Franki - is there a part of your drive where there is change in angle and it's ok? - excuse the poor picture - this is the slope down to a flat section. If I can get the distance from centre of wheel to front of bumper I can do basic trig and work out the angle tolerances ...

here is pic of dimensions I need:

yes,a steep drive which bottoms out at the end ,I cant tell you angles and measurement though,The gallardo could have issues going down it,but I have none with the gt4.

Thanks CC3 - do you know exactly? Sorry - it affects the angle.

Even better if someone lives near north London / central London with a GT4 fancies coming round mine and I can measure it up using lasers etc I could work it all out and share the exact angle?
Measured mine at 112mm. Try this info as well

hmmm - slope is 7 degrees but varies....

Anyone with a GT4 near Islington, London that would fancy a cup of tea and checking my garage slope?
I actually avoid Islington, the car hating borough. My R struggles with Islington's speed humps, won't go near it in the GT4 which is lower.

Maybe the below will be helpful.

This won't help you either but I find the little removal scoops hit my driveway and the front spoiler does not.

Well today I ended up testing the gt4s off road ability.
Driving around the Cotswolds the sat nav took us down what started as a narrow road ....a mile later it deteriorated into somewhere I would be reluctant to take the all road, but the car coped amazingly well, the front splitter did catch a lot but it's
Showing no sign of damage .
The adventure ended when a lake appeared in the road ,so I had to do the entire journey again in reverse .

Man up boys , the car can deal with a lot more than speed bumps and steep inclines .

Just wondering how much extra clearance does the front axle lift system offer. Also how long does it take to be deployed and at what speeds can you activate it at?

Front lift is not available on GT4.

Only 4RS and the 911s

I have the same question - here is the entrance my lockup. I get the feeling the splitter will rub a little bit but the brake cooling ducts Will take the main damage. They are made of plastic so I think it’s just something to live with and accept they are a consumable item for a reason… hence why it’s a plastic undertray rather than carbon or similar

Would driving up diagonally be better?

That's what I always do and my car is significantly lower than standard.

I have only replaced my front "bib" once in 30,000 miles ....

I checked it’s available as an option on the GT4 RS

I’ve had my new GT4 for 2500 miles and gradually getting more confident. Speed humps to date no problem, but as others have said it’s inclines you need to be careful of. Only big scrape I’ve had was on an innocuous but steep right hand turn where it just grounded as it flattened off as I got to the bottom. Luckily not going fast so hit the brakes and reversed back. I wouldn’t take her into a multi storey ever though.

Going to PCGB IoM 3 nighter in May and need to do the Steam Packet ferry. It’s ok if you go real slow and approach diagonally I’m reliably informed …

Sadly had to sell mine as it couldn’t get in my home garage without the use of ramps, due to the drive angle and I wouldn’t describe my drive as steep.

Such a shame you can put lift in a normal gt4.

From memory the gap between the floor when flat to the front splitter was 85mm on my 718 gt4. Hadn’t adjusted anything, factory standard.

The front clearance when on a slight slope is the only down side I felt the car had, everything else was spot on.

Sorry to pick up on a old thread, but I am very close to picking up a 718 GT4, my only outstanding concern is front clearance. It will be my only car so will be used for errands etc as well as enjoying but I live in quite a speed bump filled area. It sounds like this won't be an issue but just wanted to hear any recent experiences on this.

This one is the monster speed bump near me, think I will have any issues?
