Realised I never actually made a thread about this. Copied from elsewhere but you get the idea!
Will be rolling on a year in a few months, still very pleased with it. Very capable cars and couldn't think what else would really replace it for the same price point.

Never thought I'd see myself in a brand new car but as they're implementing a few revisions into MY16 the deal was too hard to refuse.

So my new home for the next 3 years and 90,000 miles!

Not normally a fan of the VAG groupings but I've always been impressed with the Octavia. Nor have I seen too many others in the same colour. I suspect most people could afford to actually have it painted... wink

Welcome to the Bismarck!

Grabbed a few shots on my way home, nothing comprehensive.

Skoda Octavia VRS
The standard spec is rather good to say the least.
Very few extras ticked. Black Design Pack, 'Sunset' glass (privacy glass to you and me!) and the basic Nav chucked in as they're shifting the units FOC. Only things I'd have plumped for would have been folding mirrors and heated seats, but I didn't/couldn't wait for a factory build slot without spending a fair chunk of £££ on the current daily.

I really like this grey! ...and the Octavia itself. smile

ETA: just read a recent TG magazine. Now there's a 4x4 version out, that'll be our current mk2 Octy vRS wagon's replacement, in grey. thumbup

Love this colour. Looks like a good place to be in covering those 90k miles.

Please keep us posted on how you get on with it.

Very nice. I love the colour.

I had a mk2 vrs diesel. Brilliant car, would have one again (preferably petrol) in a heartbeat and like the look of these mk3s.

Will follow with interest. When the time comesti change cars I might be in the market for a 2nd hand one of these.

Thanks all. smile

Picked it up in April 2015, so nearly a year. When I get a second I'll write a little update.

All in bar a few small niggles and less sound deadening than I'd like, awesome car.

Thanks, really loved the colour before. Would still choose it again in a heatbeat.

Ha I know, last 4 or 5 cars have had them. Circumstances at the time meant I couldn't really wait for a complete factory build, so had to pick from a pool of cars already on the way over.

Great cars i bought Mrs ubbs an estate in the same colour, although hers has a few more options and after owning Astras for about 20 years it's a refreshing change, I'm certainly impressed.
