F80 M3 exhaust - any recommendations...?
Discussion
Picking up an F80 M3 this weekend and thinking I'd like to add an exhaust. Not looking for anything too loud just a slight improvement that the car needs, mainly so I can turn off the active sound!
Obviously I could go the M Performance route, but at £3.5k it seems a bit steep. Do I need a full system? Not looking to save weight or increase power.
Cheers

I've had the active sound deleted and you can really hear the exhaust much better.
You should try it for a few weeks with the standard exhaust, I think it is too loud on Sport+ mode for normal driving, but obviously sounds amazing when pressing on!
When floored in 2nd gear up to just over 3000rpm then backed off there is a wonderful backfire sound which you never get bored of and can't really hear without active sound turned off.
I haven't heard one with an after market exhaust in real life but on all the videos they look insanely loud!
It depends if you have neighbours you want to get on with I suppose or feel self concious driving around town.
For coding there is a guy called Adam who will do it for £80 remotely (he will send you the cable) or in person around B'Ham.
I had DRLs able to be turned off at the same time and various other things - well worth the money.
