I'm planning to get my Cayman wheels refurbished soon and will probably go for silver again to match the centre caps, however, there is the option to choose a different colour for the wheels so I was wondering how other people solve the problem of colouring the centre caps to match? My centre caps are currently silver with a black Porsche crest.
Thanks.

I've just had my wheels refurbished and colour changed. The caps are being done in the same colour and finish. I'll post some pics up when I can, it's getting detailed at the moment.

If you're not too concerned about keeping OE ones, a reasonable choice of colours are available here:

Thanks for your replies.

Please do post some pictures of your wheels/caps when you get them back.

I'm not too bothered about keeping OE caps so will probably buy some from eBay and get them painted to match the wheels.

I'm rolling with an OEM set of [997 Turbo?] chromed caps with the black crest on my 986 with silver 17" Boxster wheels.

I didn't plan to but that's what turned up when I ordered a replacement set online.

The 'chromed look' may sound naff but it's reasonably discrete and you could even go further and say that they compliment the shiny surfaces of the discs.... cool

What colour is your car OP?

Depending on that, i can't help suggesting a titanium finish for your wheels, i absolutely love 'em!!

I found the thread, your two tone wheels look good. Thanks.
