Ro traction control error - fixed
Discussion
Huge thanks to Monkfish here - stopped in yesterday for a new battery and they plugged the diagnostics on to see what was wrong with with frequently occurring 'check engine - traction control off' error message, with the accompanying beeps.
Ended up being the MAF sensor!
Brilliant service, first time there and can see why everyone recommends them - great service.
Still don't get why GMs software works the way it does with fault shutdowns of safety systems but glad the annoying beeps have finally stopped.

Very happy that you have a Monkfish. There is no one here in New York that I trust. A drive to England would cost way too much in fuel and road tolls to be justified.
G.M had always been run by assholes. The U.S. government had no rite bailing them out with tax money.
Ford and the original Chrysler Corporation had superior products and better ethics.
I miss the old days of big-block, full-frame, computer-free 5,500 pound land yachts that proudly displayed the Chrysler emblem.

if you could drive your GTO to england from NY i would be impressed and wonder where the submarine button is. G.M had always been run by assholes. The U.S. government had no rite bailing them out with tax money.
