I have a weeping master cylinder on the V8S NOT-saab servo.

Are these the same as the not saab S2/3 master cylinder or different because of rear disc fitment?

Ford type, I sure. I have an old one in the garage somewhere, I could have a look tomorrow if needed.

I would say that the mc with the reservoir on top of it was the same in the 2.9 and V8 models.

Are you having a bit of a wobbler there Steve?

I thought the Fiesta m/cyls ( 22.2mm bore, non-abs ) were still available 2nd hand on fleabay. It's the servo's that were/ are rarer than hen's teeth.

Don't BiggRed recondition master cyls?

Had a look at the parts list on Wiki, and don't recognise this master cylinder against anything listed. Casting number in photo 63.1? - nothing else. Does this look standard.....

Hi Joe - yes it does confirm, I believe, that we have the same - it certainly looks the same. Can you tell me much about the spec? Bore, model, part code etc? I imagine you will have had this ground well covered before now...... Pete

For example - do you have 10mm and 12mm threads on the ports?

Both! The fittings at the rear are M10, the ones to the front measure 11mm across the threads.

The number on the plastic tag is 6561 07 44 GY, but I don't know if that is a part number of something else.

Can I go and put it back on now? laugh

On ours, one of the outlets is blanked off with a bleed nipple. Can this be used to bleed the m/cyl or is it just a blanking plug? Mine seems very tight so I'm leaving it alone.
