I can assure you, It was a gritter. was on our local news @ 7am today.
The pub it ran into only had it's kitchens re-fitted the other week - DOH !!!
my question is , how does a gritter driver actually get to work in the morning ?

Are you sure it's a gritter and not just a lorry carrying grit to (or from) the depot? Not that it makes the slightest bit of difference, I'm just in a bit of a pedantic mood that's all
