Looking to achieve a wet glass like finish on my paintwork. Looked at some web pages and came across Polish Angel. Has anybody here used it? Can anybody recommend it? Many Thanks

Yes it's an ok range.

98% of the end result is in the prep - in this case machine polishing the paint to as a defect free finish as is possible, what you choose to protect the finish with will all look the same to the naked eye.

Thanks for that Chris smile

Is there a particular range of products that you would recommend?

Hi Dave,

No worries at all.

It largely depends on if you are looking to use a machine polisher or work by hand and also what car(s) you'll be attending too?

As you've probably seen there are a million + 1 different products and brands on the market so the above will help to narrow it down somewhat.

cheers

Hi Chris,

I have a multispeed rotary machine polisher. The car is a 16 year old TVR Chimaera in Mendip blue with quite a few minor scratches, swirls and holograms. The car is fairly new to me so would like the paintwork looking the best it can with a really deep "wet glass" finish.

Many thanks for your help

Hi Dave,

The Koch Chemie range is very nice to use - 8.02 heavy cut, F5.01 and M2 polishes with associated pads all available from www.slimsdetailing.co.uk

cheers
