lasered on dual carriageway question fao BiB

hi guys & bib !

Friend travelling along dual carriageway 40mph limit, reckons was doing high 40's, 2 bib in a 4x4 lasered him but he wasnt stopped.

Is he likely to get something in the post ?

no.

sounds like pro-laser type....or speedar (radar)...

no video recording facilities...

If they wanted him, they'd have pulled out and stopped him..

If they used somthing like a LTI20/20 it'll have recording the event and he'll get a NIP inthe post...

Usually done from vans though.

It's likely his actual speed was in the low 40s; speedos usually overread a little. If so, Bib normally won't act if they were following the ACPO guidelines.
