Westfield steering wheel

Hi Ive got a 1999 Westfield and i want to bring the steering wheel closer to me to give me a bit more room araound my knees!
The shaft is splined and has a bolt in the middle.
I need to bring it back approx 50-70mm
I cant seem to find a boss anywhere!
Ebay ones are non splined and wrong size for steering wheel
any pointers without having to weld??

Perhaps a spacer like this will do the job.
if the hole size/spacing is wrong there are plenty more manufacturers out there.
