done that, I was 17 at the time so other that bruises I bounced, 40 so I doubt I'd bounce.

I'm 54 eek and can confirm categorically that I didn't bounce at all....

The worst thing is the scrape on my kneecap, there's not much skin that isnt scraped and it keeps rubbing inside my trousers. I'm not inclined to bandage it up until tonight, I'd rather let the air get to it for now

Been there, done that. Took the skin off my hip, stuck to any clothing for a couple of days after until it dried up.

It was the bruising that caused the most pain and took a few days to really develop. Irony was that I struggled to sit at work due the bruising, but riding a bike was fine as the contact point was different.

I nearly crashed due to diesel, if that counts? I went through a puddle that stank of diesel, didnt think anything of it at the time. When I arrived at work(all up hill from puddle) I passed the Gurkha gate gaurd with brakes fully applied, feet scraping the floor and stopping 3 inchs from the entry barrier. Not the best start to my day LOL.
