anyone doing 3 month rolling contract and outside IR35
Discussion
Hi, anyone doing 3 month rolling contract in public sector and is outside IR35?
I am new to contract world and has an option to work on 3 month rolling contract in public sector which might last for an year. At the moment i am doing research on IR35 and other areas like ltd and umbrella company.
I will be paid via agency and its not taking this contract if i am inside IR35.
Just waiting for agency to send me the detail contract which i will try to get reviewed by QDOS.
If anyone has done this sort of contract in the past then please share your experience.

Rolling contracts aren't a great pointer for IR35. Better to have defined deliverables, defined delivery dates, etc. 'Do stuff' doesn't really cut it.
An IR35-friendly contract is a good start, but working practices trump the paperwork. It's shades of grey. How yourco and the client handles ROS, MOO and D&C is important. Act like a business, get treated like one. Act like a pseudo-permy, bum on seat contractor, then you'll be caught. Whether you'll be investigated is another matter
