T350 not starting
Discussion
Forget about the gearbox problem, a more pressing issue is it now doesn't start.
If you think back I did mention it struggling to start when the gears were stiff. Came to work on it and it wouldn't turn over. Thought maybe the battery had drained on sitting for a week so jumped started it and it turned over OK. Drove it to a friends house with the gears all OK for some unknown reason. Bled the system got all new fluid in as a precaution. Started up OK, idled OK, let it warm up to temp then went for a drive - everything working fine.
Came to start it the next day, starter motor turns reasonably strongly but never starts. The fuel pops and bangs in the exhaust despite being stone cold. Presumed it was a weak battery so installed a brand new replacement and tried it again. No fecking difference - starter motor whirs, engine doesn't try to start, fuel explodes in the exhaust.
So not battery, any suggestions? This is beginning to get on my nerves a bit.
Coil pack, crank angle sensor, evil wizards curse, lack of fairy dust?
